Installation procedure UGS NX2

Download the exe-file on your hard drive and execute it by double clicking on it.
The installation files will be extracted.

Click on the file 'launch'
The Unigraphics NX2 product installation screen appears
Click the 'Install License Server' button to install your license server. For this installation, you will need the license file, that you received in your email from Academic Download.

The installation wizard for Unigraphics NX FLEXlm starts.
Click next
Click next to install it to a specific folder, or click 'Change' to change the folder
You will be asked to locate your license file, click browse to find it on your hard drive.
Click next, and click 'Install' to begin the installation
Your license server will be correctly installed.

To install the software of Unigraphics NX2, click the button 'Install Unigraphics NX' in the main installation window.
Follow the installation wizard to install Unigraphics
Click 'Next' to select the type of installation, select e.g. 'typical'
Click next
Confirm the installation directory by clicking 'Next'
Choose the language when running Unigraphics NX, and click 'next'
Confirm the servername, by clicking 'Next'
Confirm the previous settings by clicking next, the installation will start.

After the installation of Unigraphics, you must select a bundle.
If you don't select a bundle, you can get the error "UG FLEXlm Error: The module gateway is not on your license file. [-18]
Go to start --> All programs --> Unigraphics NX 2.0 --> FlexLM tools --> License options
Select the available bundle (e.g. "ACD") and click "ADD >>" to add it to your selected bundles. Click OK to confirm.

Start Unigraphics
Start --> All programs --> Unigraphics NX 2.0 --> Unigraphics NX
