Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been named the best anti-spyware and best anti-worm product by leading IT security title, SC Magazine, in the Readers Trust Awards. The company walked off with the coveted accolades at the SC Magazine Awards 2006 Europe. Kaspersky Lab was also a finalist in the ‘Best Anti-Virus’ and ‘Best Anti-Trojan' categories.The double success re-enforces Kaspersky Lab’s position in the anti-malware market, as the company fended off some strong competition from major players in the security industry to win the awards. This year there were more than 1,300 product and service nominations from more than 330 companies. |  |

Kaspersky® Anti-Virus Personal has won the Computer Buyer Best Buy Award in the March edition of Computer Buyer, a leading magazine for the home user and small business community. The review tested six leading antivirus programs against a set of criteria that included: detection rates, usability, functionality, reporting and even how products coped when loaded onto a pre-infected PC.One of the factors that helped Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal to win the award was it's ability to detect every virus that they 'threw' at it as well as every other form of malware tested, including Trojans, diallers and spyware. Kaspersky® Personal Security Suite -- Kaspersky Lab's integrated security solution for PCs -- received the Best Buy award from PC World Brazil. In comparative tests conducted by the Brazilian IT magazine, the product demonstrated top malicious program detection rates and detection of phishing messages. Experts from the magazine's test lab made note of the solution's low resource requirements on PCs, combined with high performance and reliable protection of user data. Criteria used in the tests included such parameters as ease of software installation and use. |
