Academic Download

Academic Download is a European initiative to provide students and teachers with legal software. With the signing of the Bologna Agreement in June of 1999, European students in higher education are now more than ever encouraged to use the digital highway interactively, the so-called Anytime Anywhere Learning.

Higher education systems are already making strong efforts to integrate the use of notebooks. With this goes the legal use of software both in and around campus. From a legal and moral point of view, it is the duty of higher education systems to watch and monitor it’s implementation.This is only possible if quality software for educational purposes is offered to students and teachers under acceptable conditions.With this initiative, we do hope to cater to the expectations of the student and their educational system.

Thanks to the internet access offered to Academic Download by BELNET, the Belgian Research Network, the price per licence for students and staff of research & educational organisations could be set even lower and downloading files goes even faster.
